Louise Cousineau, artist
While teaching watercolor, Louise noticed that student's most important
difficulty is in Composition, or Design. She set out to create a Design Course, using
such references as "The Art of Color and Design", written by Maitland Graves, in
1951, and many other art books on the subject.
The course is divided into 2 sessions of 30 hours each.
Composition I : Initiates the student to the elements and principles of design, with
exercises to ensure retention.
Composition II : (pre-requisite Composition I) Applies knowledge acquired in
Composition I and elaborates on the most important points through exercises.
These classes will be available starting September 2008, both at "La Maison des
arts Rive-Sud" http://www.maisondesartsrivesud.org/ and at Louise's home studio.
